Cape Cod Center Update

We recently sold the property located at 48 Camp Street in Hyannis that housed our Cape pregnancy center. Although, AWC owned this property, we still had a sizable mortgage and a tremendous amount of condominium-related expenses. As a ministry totally reliant on the generosity of our donors, we realized that we could not financially sustain all of the costs and after much deliberation, the Board decided to seek a more cost effective way to service our clients on the Cape.

We are in the process of seeking an affordable alternative that can serve both Cape Cod and the greater South Shore communities. We believe that finding a location that is convenient both to Cape Cod and the greater South Shore would allow us to serve a greater demographic on a more cost-effective basis. We recently looked at properties in Wareham and in South Plymouth.

Our long term vision is to purchase a second mobile medical clinic, which would enable us to provide medical services that could be based, not just in one location, but serve the greater Cape Cod area as needed – including Hyannis and Falmouth.

Thank you for your faithful support. Please pray with us as we seek the Lord's guidance and direction for the future of this vital ministry. If anyone would like to serve on a committee to help us with our relocation process or offer any input/suggestions, please contact Teresa Larkin, Executive Director at 617-939-6654/email teresalarkin@awcprc.org or Paul Linehan, Chairman of the Board at 781-267-2121/ email paullinehan@awcprc.org.
